After Obama won the election last night Donald Trump was enraged, which resulted in Tweets of his disgust. One of his Tweets I found interesting and somewhat true. Yesterday the @realDonaldTrump posted “We can’t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided.” Our nation is going through a large change as the population of Hispanic, Mexican, and African American voters rise our nation is transforming. Young people like myself are educating themselves and doing more to make a difference in our world. With these changes and many others, our nation is morphing and exercising their right to vote to make a change.

Social media plays a huge role in the lives of the younger generation. We are known for our ability to research products and services before we make a purchase or decision. We hunt for answers to be better informed on many aspects of our lives. Social media helped us show our support, engage, and formulate opinions about both of the presidential candidates however, there are more than two political ideals present in the election but very few voters know about the other campaigns.

If you are relieved that Obama is serving a second term or saddened by the results of the election, make a promise to yourself, your family, and your country to learn about all aspects of political elections from this day forward including all presidential candidates running for president. Take advice from the younger generations and don’t be an uninformed voter. Take the time to understand their campaign and see where your opinions fall.
